Anaphylaxis

Anaphylaxis is a systemic severe, life-threatening allergic reaction that occurs within seconds to minutes after exposure to certain allergens that you are allergic to. It usually presents with hives, flushing, skin redness, throat closing, wheezing, difficulty breathing, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. It requires immediate medical attention and follow-up with an allergist to determine the causes and find treatment for it. Anaphylaxis needs to be recognized promptly and treated appropriately. Treating anaphylaxis early would reduce the risk of development into anaphylaxis shock, a life threatening condition when your blood pressure drops and may lead to death. In some cases, it might occurs during exercising and a few hours after eating certain types of food like celery, wheat... This particular presentation is often seen in children and is call Food Dependent  Anaphylaxis or simply as Exercise-Induced Anaphylaxis. Common causes of anaphylaxis are:
